We were here:

And now we’re back.

I can’t figure out why I don’t feel like blogging . . . why I don’t feel like telling you all about our Santa Fe adventure with family & friends . . . why I don’t feel like going back to publicly pondering all manner of random ideas . . . why I don’t feel like sharing with you my woes over the new slew of changes at work.  (Oh God can we get some stability ever again?) . . . Could it be that my fickle-serial hobbyist-ways have caught up with me and the on-line journal thing has lost its lure?

I went for a walk in the heat on Saturday.  Did 2.25 miles with an average pace of 13:36 or something like that.  And yes I cheated by jogging about .2 of a mile just to knock my pace down a bit.  I do like sweating. Maybe that will be my new hobby.

  1. I am going to have to stand up for sweating here… I heartily support and advocate sweating (as long as it is generally followed with washing…) And I have found my mind wandering to all sorts of neat places as I sweat and contort my way through yoga…

Now if only I could just remember what I thought of when I sit down to write…..

  2. Amanda – exactly!! I haven’t done yoga in years – but lately, on the too infrequent semiannual occasions when I clean the bathroom, I have amazing zen epiphanies – ones which I can never quite remember when I’m at the keyboard. Then again, maybe it’s not spiritual, maybe it’s the chemicals. . . . hmmm . . . I better stick to walking out in the “fresh” L.A. air.

  3. I haven’t felt much like blogging recently either. I’m all for sweating though. I don’t sweat, I wish I could sweat, I’d be a lot more comfortable I’m sure!
